Probando, probando, probando
Hoy he recibido mi primer pedido de filtros de STC Optics. Entre ellos el STC CLIP FILTER SERIES para Fujifilm concretamente el IR Pass 590 nm. Tipo de filtros que desconocía hasta ahora y que no he dudado en probar inmediatamente. En mi primer test he adaptado a mi cámara un objetivo con el que jamás antes pude hacer fotografía en el infrarrojo. El Canon 500mm f/4
Equipo y procedimiento:
- Cámara: Fujifilm X-T1 IR
- Objetivo: Canon 500mm f/4
- STC CLIP FILTER SERIES para Fujifilm IR Pass 590 nm
- 1/680 sec @ f/4 ISO 200
- Formato Fuji RAF convertido a DNG con DNG converter de Adobe
- Solucionado el problema de viñeteo con Corner Fix
- Con Photoshop intercambio de canales y reducción de tamaño para publicar.
Los resultados son extraordinarios. La calidad y el rendimiento del filtro excelentes. Y he podido comprobar que el objetivo Canon 500mm f/4 no produce el desagradable fenómeno de hot spot. Dos imágenes, con y sin intercambio de canales.
Testing, testing, testing
Today I received my first order of filters from STC Optics. Among them the STC CLIP FILTER SERIES for Fujifilm IR Pass 590 nm. In my first test I have not hesitated to adapt to my camera a lens with which I could never before do IR photography. The Canon 500mm f/4

- STC CLIP FILTER SERIES for Fujifilm IR Pass 590 nm
- 1/680 sec @ f/4 ISO 200
- Fuji RAF file converted to DNG with Adobe DNG converter
- Fixed vignetting with Corner Fix
- With Photoshop basic channel swap swapping and size reduction to publish.
The results are extraordinary. IMHO. The best is the filter performance and quality. And Canon 500mm f/4 have no hot spot at all. Above two images with and without channel swapping.
